I have been for some time now searching for an ISP and find that in my area there is no neutrality or allowable competition of broadband carriers. I am able to receive mid grade DSL as the fastest connection but have to pay up to 5 times the amount of national DSL carriers advertised prices. Not only am I paying outrageous amounts for connection but the service is the worst I have encountered. In contacting other carriers they state they can not provide me service even though I already have DSL they are not able to provide to me their service at reduced rates using the same lines. Some carriers state that it is a post office problem and the post office states they have nothing to do with DSL and if anything it is the 911 service that is the problem. Being on a very limited income, being controlled by a non competitive market and being forced to pay for broadband due to the monopolizing nature of the system I feel something should be done to prevent monopolizing situations like this and if 1 company can provide service others should as well. Thank you for your time and help, Albert Ramirez
