I have seen many things that I feel have been unfair and certain weighted to the advantage of my Franchisor. I believe that the FTC needs to revise it's position concern Franchise law. Additionally the FTC needs to address the following issues. 1) The devaluation of my assests through encroachment concerning where other stores can be put up. 2) Restraining trade by restricting my ability to purchase from local suppliers. I could get product at less cost and possibly better quality. 3) I feel the use of advertising funds is solely at the mercy of a few hand picked franchisees and my franchisor. I really have no say in it. 4) I believe that my franchisor does not disclose important information that allows new franchisee to make informed decisions at the time of signing your 1st contract.
