The last portion of your recording there intrigues me because when you do call the consumer or FTC complaint line it is pretty obvious that they, the FTC, doesn't want to enforce the Franchise Rule.

We, as you well know, we have brought widespread cases of abuse with just one franchise, namely Subway, and the FTC, that's set up to protect us, doesn't. And, there's nobody out there left to protect us and the franchisors know it, and that's how the abuse occurs. And it's just got to stop. And the only solution I have is to abolish the FTC Rule and give us a private right of action, which we deserve. And a private right of action would straighten out the complete problem, since it's apparent that the FTC just doesn't want to go after the franchisor, whether they are wrong in supplying the pre-sale promotional material or not. It seems like it's based on how big the franchise is. Subway is big, so the FTC says we can't step on their toes. There's just something wrong with this system. Thanks a lot, good bye.
