Contributor | CN | Contributor. Would include Editor, Illustrator, Sponsor, etc. |
Creator | AU | Author or Creator. |
Date | DP | Date of original item. For example, 1997-03-23 for a letter written March 23, 1997. |
Description | DS | Description. |
Electronic File Name | FL | Original file name. If the original file was electronic, full path and file name. Not used for some collections. |
Folder | F00 | Folder name. Name of the folder containing the item. |
Format | FR | Format. MIME-type. |
Language | LA | Language. For example, English. |
Physical Condition | PH | Physical condition of the original item. |
Publisher | PB | Publisher of original item. |
Quality Control Date | QC | Date on which quality control was complete. For example, 1997-11-17. Useful for internal purposes. |
Recipient | RC | Recipient. Useful for correspondence. |
Relation | RL | Relation. Usually the internal unique identifiers of related documents. |
Rights | RG | Rights. Usually "Courtesy of..." |
Series | S00 | Series. |
Source | SO | Source of original item. Useful for published documents. Would contain source information such as book title, editor, ISBN, etc. |
Subject | SB | Subject. Usually reserved for controlled vocabularies. Not used for some collections. Try searching Title, Description, or OCR text in Document Body. |
SubSeries | S01 ... S15 | Subseries ... SubSubSubSubSubSubSubSubSubSubSubSubSubSubSubseries. |
Title | TI | Title of the item. Sometimes inferred. |
Type | PT | Type. Art and Architecture Thesaurus (AAT) document type such as "articles". |
Unique Identifier | UI | Unique Identifier. Usually the document's internal unique identifier. |
