Priorities for America's HealthExit Disclaimer

Published by the Partnership for PreventionExit Disclaimer, this lists cost-effective clinical preventive services recommended by the USPSTF and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices. The recommendationsExit Disclaimer include primary and secondary preventive services offered by healthcare providers in clinical settings, including immunizations, screening tests, counseling and preventive medications.

The Community GuideExit Disclaimer

Developed and maintained by the non-federal Task Force on Community Preventive Services, this summarizes what is known about the effectiveness, efficiency and feasibility of interventions to promote community health and prevent disease.

National Healthcare Quality Report & National Healthcare Disparities Report

Published annually by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), these together provide a comprehensive overview of the quality of healthcare in the U.S.

Hospital Quality Measures

Initiated by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, the goal is to "empower consumers with quality of care information to make more informed decisions about their health care" and "encourage providers and clinicians to improve the quality of health care."

AHRQ's Quality Measures Inventory

A number of the measures in the documents selected by OMH are also included in an inventory of evidence-based health care quality measures recently compiled by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). The measures in this inventory are those currently being used by the Divisions in HHS for quality measurement, improvement, and reporting purposes. These measures can be searched by HHS Division, topic or condition, domain, or care setting.

State Scorecards on Health System PerformanceExit Disclaimer

Using 32 indicators developed by the Commonwealth FundExit Disclaimer, these scorecards enable ranking of each of the States in five dimensions-healthy lives, quality, access, efficiency, and equity-of health system performance.
