The National Institute for Literacy: Budget Decisions

Statement from Daniel Miller, Acting Director

WASHINGTON (May 8, 2009) – On May 7, 2009 the White House released the administration's 2010 Federal Budget proposal. To learn more about the Administration's budget and decisions regarding the Institute, please visit: http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/ and http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/fy2010/assets/trs.pdf. With appropriated funding through September 30, 2010, the Institute expects to continue providing services to the field The Institute looks forward to issuing additional information and updates on its operations, programs, and services as they become available.
