Does Your State Make The Grade?

April 27th, 2009

resources-state-law-map-2009Break the Cycle recently released the 2009 State-by-State Teen Dating Violence Report Card grading each state’s laws on how well they protect teen victims of dating violence. Almost half the states failed to make a passing grade and only five states received A’s.  Want to see how your state measures up? Click here and check out the report.

The report was definitely a wake-up call and several states are already taking steps to improve their laws. You can help out with the movement to change laws and policies to better protect young people too. Learn more about it by visiting www.breakthecycle.org/.
