Biology - Terrestrial, Freshwater, and Marine Ecosystems Program
Columbia Environmental Research Center (CERC)The Columbia Environmental Research Center (CERC) focuses on the consequences of environmental degradation to the fish and wildlife of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, especially those of the Texas/Gulf Coast, Intermountain West, Missouri River, and Great Lakes/Great Plains regions. Environmental contaminants are investigated in addition to other causes of environmental declines, including invasive species, habitat alteration, eutrophication and climate change. 4200 New Haven Road Samples of Ecosystems-related research at CERC: Ecological Effects of Fire Retardant Chemicals and Fire Suppressant Foams (NPWRC, in collaboration with CERC, PWRC) (also related to Fire)
