Florida Integrated Science Center (FISC)

The Florida Integrated Science Center (FISC) focuses on the restoration of the lands and waters of Florida, the Southeastern States, and the U.S. Caribbean. The Center has worked extensively in the restoration of the manatee and the Florida Everglades, and in maintaining a “central repository for accurate and spatially referenced biogeographic accounts of [the nation’s] nonindigenous aquatic species.”
