Regular Screening Prevents Colorectal CancerColorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in the United States. It affects men and women from all racial and ethnic groups but is most common in people 50 and older. Colorectal cancer is preventable. Regular screening detects colon polyps which can be removed before they become cancer.
