How to install the client on your PDA

Instructions for Palm Users:

    -     To download version 2.1 for Palm OS, click the link on the right. Choose a location to store the prc file on your desktop computer. Then hotsync it to your Palm device.

Instructions for PocketPC Users:

    -     To download version 2.1 for PocketPC, click the appropriate link on the right. Choose a location to store the cab file on your desktop computer. Then use ActiveSync to copy the cab file to your PocketPC. Tap the cab file to install MD on Tap. This will put an MD on Tap icon in your Programs folder and install the client software in your program files folder.

    -     If you do not want an icon in your Programs folder, you can copy this exe file to your PDA: MDOnTap.exe

    -     There is no version 2.0 or higher for PocketPC devices that were released before or during 2002. Please Contact Us if you have questions.

    -      NEW!  MD on Tap is now available for PPC/cell phones with the small (240x240 pixel) screen running Windows Mobile OS.

Note to users with Palm 4.x OS
If your PDA times out, PMoT may not be able to automatically re-connect to the Internet. We encourage you to set your connection and/or PDA idle timeout to the maximum for your device.
