Last week, the Midvale City Recorder's Office received notices of withdrawl from two of the Mayoral Candidates.  With only two Mayoral candidates remaining, a Primary Election will not be necessary.

2nd Annual Memory Ride and Walk

On Saturday, September 12, 2009, the Midvale Suicide Coalition is sponsoring it's 2nd Annual Memory Ride and Walk.  The event will begin at Midvale City Park, located at 445 W 7500 S.  Registration and a continental breakfast will begin at 9:00am.  The ride begins at 10:00am and costs $20 per rider.  The Memory Walk will take place between 10:00am and 4:00pm and is free for all participants.  Lunch will be served in the park from 11:00am-4:00pm.

Midvale Releases an RFP for a Network Based Storage System

Midvale City is inviting qualified vendors to submit a Proposal to recommend, provide and potentially install a Network Based Storage System. Interested parties can receive a complete list of system requirements and Proposal guidelines by clicking the link below or by contacting Jarin Blackham, Information Technology Manager at (801) 567-7279. Proposals must be received at City Hall no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31st, 2009.

E-Waste Recycling for Old TVs

With the switch to digital TV signals last month, many of us may have an old set that we would like to get rid of. This electronic waste, or e-waste, does not belong in the landfill and should be recycled. This summer, the Salt Lake Valley Health Department has made that easier than ever. 

The Health Department will be accepting old tv sets for recycling from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m at the following locations: 

Sandy City Public Works

In order to be eligible for permanent vote by mail status, you must be a registered voter at the address listed on your permanent vote by mail application.
