Detailed Forecast Discussion |
Air quality levels are in the GREEN range as a cold front passed through the region Tuesday night and helped decrease pollution. This front has run into the strong Bermuda high set up off the coast and should become stationary for the next couple days. This will keep our skies cloudy and should help produce rain showers throughout the region for Thursday and Friday. It will be hard for AQI numbers to increase very much so GREEN levels are likely for Thursday and Friday. Most of the energy will eventually drift north as the high builds back into the deep south so expect AQI numbers to increase by the weekend. (Bodenhamer) |
