Welcome to the City of Douglas - one of the best 100 Small Towns in America, located in Douglas Wyoming. The City of Douglas is committed to providing efficient and cost-effective public services. We strive to maintain public trust and confidence in local government and to improve the quality of life for all residents of the community. The City of Douglas operates under a Mayor-Council form of government, with an appointed City Administrator. The Mayor presides at meetings of the City Council and is recognized as the head of city government for all ceremonial purposes. The Mayor and City Council establish objectives for the operation of the city and act as the policy-making body.
