Aviation Subcommittee to Hold FAA Budget Hearing
 
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Commerce Subcommittee on Aviation Operations, Safety, and Security announced today that it will review the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) fiscal year (FY) 2009 budget proposal at a hearing on February 12, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. 
 
The Administration’s FY 2009 proposal would provide $14.6 billion for the FAA in FY 2009, a cut of $273 million from FY 2008, and $53 million less than FY 2007.
