Federal Spending Requests

On this page, you will be able to review a list of all the projects for which Senator Shaheen has requested an appropriation in the federal budget for 2010. Each request includes a description of the project’s purpose, location, funding recipient, and an explanation of its benefit to New Hampshire and to the country.

In the last election, Americans voted for a new direction, and Shaheen is proud to be a part of a new culture of openness and transparency in Washington. She applauds the changes that require all members of Congress to post funding requests online, and she believes that the opportunity to review the proposed projects on this page will help educate the public about the good work occurring in New Hampshire and ensure that only projects in the best interest of New Hampshire taxpayers are submitted for funding.

This page will be updated as additional requests for New Hampshire are made pursuant to Committee deadlines.

If you would like to make an Appropriations request for FY2011, please contact Senator Shaheen’s office in the fall.

Please take this opportunity to review these requests and share your thoughts with Senator Shaheen’s office.
