Description
Public Inquiries of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) responds to inquiries from the general public and health care professionals on research conducted by the CDC in the areas of environmental health, infectious diseases, health promotion and education, prevention services and occupational safety and health. Callers and mail are referred to the appropriate CDC Center, Institute or Office and to other federal, state and/or private institutions. CDC also maintains several Internet sites in English and Spanish that gives the general public immediate access to much of the agency's resources.
