Detailed Forecast Discussion |
All zones should verify at Code Green for this afternoon. For Thursday, the frontal system will remain stationary over the Midlands of South Carolina, bringing a continued good chance of shower and thunderstorm activity for the Midlands as well as the Lowcountry and Grand Strand, where the air will still be moist and unstable ahead of the front. North and west of the front, some drier air will filter into the Upstate, decreasing the chance for rain in that part of the state. Overall, the clean air already in place should keep ozone concentrations within the Green category for all zones on Thursday. |
