Garrett Unanimously Elected to Republican Policy Committee

This afternoon, Congressman Scott Garrett was unanimously elected to serve on the Republican Policy Committee. The Committee provides an opportunity for Members to discuss legislative ideas, and develop them into proposals for possible consideration by the appropriate House committees.
“I am humbled by this opportunity to work with my colleagues to develop ideas into action,” said Garrett. “The issues that my New Jersey constituents have spoken to me about most – keeping the homeland secure, putting the family budget first, and reforming the ways of Washington – are the issues that the American people care about as well. And I am eager to roll up my sleeves and get to work on these issues.”
