Air Quality Indexes

Code Green - Air quality expected to be in good range.

Code Yellow - Moderate air quality expected. Citizens are advised to consolidate trips, limit idling while driving and conserve electricity.

Code Orange - Moderately unhealthy air in the area. Citizens should carpool if possible and limit exercise outside. People with respiratory ailments should limit activities.

Code Red - Unhealthy air. Citizens should limit any outdoor activities, particularly those involving children and the elderly; avoid mowing lawns and limit driving.
