USTDA Awards Grants in the Energy and Transportation Sectors in Jordan

AMMAN, JORDAN (August 9, 2009) – Underscoring President Obama's commitment to supporting growth and development in the Middle East region, USTDA Acting Director Leocadia I. Zak today conferred two grants to further Jordanian priorities in the energy and transportation sectors. In addition, Acting Director Zak announced plans to support a solar energy project in the Ma'an Development Area, a USTDA-funded reverse trade mission to the United States for Jordanian officials on renewable energy, and a regional electricity conference. | View Full Release
