Energy Profiler

Energy Profiler logo.

A tool for load shape and pricing analysis used by both energy suppliers and major energy customers. With Energy Profiler, users can view and edit load shapes graphically, manage a database of energy rates, perform rate comparisons and generate estimated bills under a variety of scenarios. Energy Profiler can collect data directly from a variety of metering devices, and can read and write data files in several widely used formats. Energy Profiler helps users to better understand their energy usage and associated costs.

Audience

Energy Profiler has a diverse user community, but is mostly used by utility staff in account management, load research and rate design, and by energy and facilities managers at major energy customers.

Input

Primarily interval load data. Energy Profiler can also incorporate other types of interval data such as weather and hourly prices as overlays to load profiles, as well as total monthly usage data.

Output

Energy Profiler generates charts and graphs as well as data in tabular form. It can also write out interval data files in a variety of formats such as CSV, MDEF, and CMEP.
