Partners provide matching funds to extend ADF's impact in Africa
Partnerships Expand USADF's Program Impact Potential
The unique approach and impact of USADF’s work is recognized in strategic partnerships with African governments, other donors, and the private sector. Strategic partnerships establish an aggreement for host governments to match USADF program grants in their countries up to an agreed level.
Entering 2009, USADF has strategic partnerships in place to leverage funding in the following ten countries: Benin, Botswana, Cape Verde, Guinea, Mali, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, and Uganda. Through these strategic partnerships USADF has the potential to leverage an additional $5 million toward community and enterprise development projects in FY 2009.
