This overflow bridge is designed to allow an intermittent river to pass over it.
Such bridges are common for flashy rivers on rural roads.
At times of river flow, the road may become impassable.
Therefore, in addition to research benefits, this webcam provides for remote monitoring of dangerous road conditions.
