Limted access to the MIDAS database is provided to corporate or government agency users on need to know basis only. Before access is approved, applicants must complete the provided registration form, signed by a POC.  In the case of corporate users, a corporate officer must also sign, and in the case of government agency users, an approving government official must sign.  By providing these certifications, signators acknowledge that they have read and understand the terms of the agreement granting the access and that they agree to abide by its terms.

This is a DoD computer system. For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, this government system employs software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. Unauthorized attempts to upload information on this service are strictly prohibited and may be punishable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act. Password protected information should be considered sensitive and protected from unauthorized access and should not be distributed without prior authorization. In addition, passwords shall not be shared IAW AR 25-2, Section IV, Procedural Security, Para 4-12 (b. The holder of a password is the only authorized user of that password.)
