Bid Protest Filings by E-Mail

GAO will now accept bid protest-related filings sent by e-mail, to Protests@gao.gov. Clicking on that address (either here or on the previous web page) should open a pre-addressed e-mail window for you to use; if it does not, simply address your own message.

On our receipt of your e-mailed bid protest-related filing, you will be sent an automatic confirming reply, advising that a file number and attorney will be assigned to the matter shortly, and that it will be processed in accordance with our Bid Protest Regulations, 4 C. F. R. Part 21. The reply also will advise that assignment and status information is available on our on-line Bid Protest Docket, accessible via the Legal Products link on GAO's home page, or by calling our protest status line at 202-512-5436. If you do not immediately receive a confirming reply, GAO did not receive your message. In that case, please either send your protest-related filing by fax to 202-512-9749, or call the bid protest status line at 202-512-5436 for assistance.
