APLA to Host Town Hall:
The Twin Epidemics of Homophobia and HIV
HIV MattersOn May 13, an expert panel of global and domestic public health leaders will gather to examine the role of anti-gay stigma on HIV infection rates here and abroad for “HIV Matters,” part of APLA’s long-running series of community forums.

The event will precede the May 17 International Day Against Homophobia observance, an annual effort to draw attention to the effects of anti-gay bias worldwide.

A reception begins at 6:15 pm. Panel presentations, followed by a Q & A, will begin at 7:00 pm. more »
