This Notice is to inform the scientific community that the NIDDK is amending the application instructions for RFA-DK-08-008: Diabetes Research Centers (P30, P60), (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-DK-08-008.html), released on February 23, 2009, as follows:

Guidelines Illustration V (Use of Core Facilities), as found in the Diabetes Center Administrative Guidelines (http://www.niddk.nih.gov/fund/other/guidelines.pdf ), will NOT count toward the indicated page limitations for Diabetes Research Center applications.

All other aspects of RFA-DK-08-008 (http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-DK-08-008.html) remain unchanged.
