USADF's Liberia Program

USADF re-started operations in Liberia in May 2006 at the invitation of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. The focus of USADF’s activities in Liberia is to  help re-start economic growth in marginalized areas following two decades of civil unrest.  USADF programing aims to stimulate job creation and improve income levels by investing in cooperatives and enterprises.

Projects developing goods and services such as sanitation, constuction, fish, and palm oil have, with USADF funding, have contributed to USADF's overall goal of improved quality of life.
