Carmel, NY – U.S. Representative John Hall (D-NY-19) will hold a special “Community Congress” public forum this Saturday, September 8th at 10 am in Yorktown Heights.  Saturday’s public meeting is being held in conjunction with A Better Way, a nonpartisan grass-roots group of Senior Citizens.

The Town Hall style meeting will open with an introduction by Westchester County Executive Andy Spano, followed by an update from Hall on his efforts in Congress on important issues including health care and the War in Iraq.  After his update, Hall will open the forum to questions so he can hear the comments and concerns of residents of the 19th Congressional District.

“One of my top priorities as a Representative is to be accessible and responsive,” said Hall.  “It’s important for me to hear the opinions and concerns of my constituents.”

Hall’s “Community Congress” event will be held Saturday, September 8th at the Yorktown Stage at 10:00 am.  Future public meetings will be announced to the media in advance and posted on Hall’s website: http://www.johnhall.house.gov/congressonyourcorner.asp

Saturday’s event is free and open to the public.
