Report on Impacts of Aerosols on Climate PDF Print E-mail

altFinal Report of Synthesis and Assessment Product 2.3 "Aerosol properties and their impacts on climate" is posted online (posted 16 Jan 2009) . See also press release from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
The report provides a review of the current knowledge about global distributions and properties of atmospheric aerosols,  as they relate to aerosol impacts on climate. It assesses possible next steps aimed at substantially reducing uncertainties in aerosol radiative forcing estimates.
