Letter Requests

My office is happy to send letters of greetings to constituents who are interested in receiving acknowledgement for accomplishments, recent awards, and special occasions.

If you would like to obtain a congratulatory, retirement, anniversary, condolence, or birthday letter from my office, please use the form below or contact 202-224-4543 by phone. Please have the following information available when you contact my office:

Name of person to whom the letter should be addressed
Mailing address of that individual(s)
Reason for letter, i.e., birthday, anniversary, recent birth
Date of event
Deadline for the request
Contact name and phone number in case my staff should need to contact you.
You may also fax your requests to 202-224-2417. Please specify the letter you are requesting in the subject line.

All letter requests, except for the birth of a baby and condolence notes, should be submitted 4-8 weeks in advance of the event. Letters will be sent to the honoree only, and will be mailed 7-14 days before the event. Requests for notes of condolence and for the birth of a baby must be received after the event, and responses will be mailed as soon as possible.

Please be sure that all information is entered accurately and completely; the fields are case sensitive. The information in these fields is used in the letter, if it contains incorrect information or are left blank, we may be unable to fulfill the letter request.

Please provide a minimum of four weeks notification prior to the deadline for your request.
