Teachers of Critical Languages Program
The Teachers of Critical Languages Program brings teachers from China and the Middle East to teach Chinese and Arabic at U.S. elementary and secondary schools for an academic year. American students benefit from having native speakers of Chinese and Arabic in the classroom and from a broadened foreign language curriculum. This program is also part of the National Security Language Initiative. The program is administered by American Councils for International Education and additional program information may be found at www.americancouncils.org/TCLP/.
