Health care reform is one of the most important issues facing American families and our economy. As a senior member of the Senate HELP committee, I chaired the workgroup on quality and helped write the Affordable Health Choices Act.
With the Affordable Health Choices Act, if you like the coverage you have today, you can keep it. This bill protects your ability to keep the current health insurance you have through your employer, Medicare, Veterans benefits and other existing health coverage.

This is an historic moment. Forty years ago, the United States of America landed a man on the moon. I think that’s a wonderful achievement. But if we can send people into space and be able to afford to do it, we can also help people get to a doctor and be able to afford to do it.
