Allows building operators get data from and send commands to an
energy management system. With PocketControls the system can be controlled remotely, from a
handheld Pocket PC, using wireless cellular communication technology.

With PocketControls a building engineer can:
- Connect to the building automation system using cellular communication technology
- Download point values to a Pocket PC
- Evaluate the situation by checking point status viewing Trend graphs and tables
- Review Alarm Reports, Operator Reports, Failed Point Reports, Emergency Reports and other Reports
- Send commands back to the EMS for execution as either�temporary or permanent overrides
PocketControls works with Johnson, Honeywell, Siemens and Andover EMS systems, although drivers to other systems can be created as well.

PocketControls has just been released in May 2002.
Audience
Campus facility managers at community colleges, schools and hospitals. The product is only useful for buildings with a working EMS system.
Input
Using cellular technology, PocketControls will call the EMS system for current point
values, trend data.� You may then input override values.
Output
Trend graphs, trend tables, current point values, alarm reports, operator reports, failed
point reports, emergency reports, disabled point reports, failed cabinet reports.� We are currently
working on an internet interface as well.
Computer Platform
PocketControls consists of a cellular phone, a PDA (Pocket PC) and a Server with modem
which is connected to a controller on the control network.
