Kingston Statement on Presidential Address

Washington, Feb 25 -

Congressman Jack Kingston (R/GA-1) released the following statement in response to President Obama’s address to the Joint Session of Congress:

“We want to do everything that we can to work with the President but he's got to stop spending money we don't have.  Washington is robbing our children's future.

“The President needs to back off the notion of centralized government planning.  The new 'regulation of the day' approach is increasing uncertainty - driving down the stock market, wiping out retirement savings and killing jobs.”
