During these difficult economic times, many people are finding it hard to make ends meet.  In some cases, families are struggling to have enough to eat.  That is why I strongly support the National Association of Letter Carriers annual food drive.  This year, the food drive is on Saturday, May 9. 

The Letter Carrier food drive is a national event, with more than 70 California communities participating.  You can check to see if your community is on the list of participants by using this link.  To learn more about the event, you can use this link.
