2009 Highway Bill Reauthorization

The Senate Environment and Public Works Committee recently indicated it would work toward an 18-month extension of SAFETEA-LU. We expect the bill to be a strict reauthorization without major changes in policy or inclusion of congressionally-directed projects, but in order to be prepared for all possibilities, Senator Nelson's office is collecting project requests.
Please note that since this is only an 18-month extension, If projects were to end up being included, the size and scope would likely be drastically reduced from a typical multi-year reauthorization.
This form differs greatly from the House version; only the information below is needed and Sen. Nelson's staff will contact you if any questions arise.
