Congressman Lungren (CA-03) took to the Floor of the House to decry the censorship exercised by the Franking Commission which blocked Members of Congress from sending a chart created by the Republican Staff of the Joint Economic Committee to demonstrate the bureaucracy that the Health Care proposal of House Democrats would install between the patient and their doctor.
After roughly two weeks of debate over the chart, the Members of the Franking Commission withdrew their objections and the Health Care Chart is now approved for Member Offices to use in Franked Mailings.
