Congressman Geoff Davis : Serving Kentucky's Fourth District

Congressional Art Competition

(Winners from the 2009 Congressional Art Competition)

Each year, the Congressional Arts Caucus coordinates an annual art competition for students in grades nine through twelve. This competition provides a wonderful opportunity to recognize the rich artistic talents of high school students across the nation.

Entries are accepted from each Congressional District, and then a winner is chosen from each district.  The winning entry selected to represent the Fourth Congressional District of Kentucky will be displayed in our nation’s Capitol in Washington, D.C., as part of an exhibition comprised of artwork from across the country. The first place winner will also receive three airline tickets to the ribbon cutting ceremony and an art school scholarship.

You can view entries from the 2009 competition, An Artistic Discovery, here.

The dates for the 2010 Congressional Art Competition have yet to be announced.  Check back often for more information. If you have questions about the competition, contact my Fort Mitchell office at (859) 426-0080.
