Call for Pregnant Women Facing VBAC Bans

A lawyer with Legal Voice, a non-profit women’s legal rights organization serving the Northwest states, is investigating possible legal responses to bans on vaginal birth after cesarean at hospitals in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Washington and Oregon.

If you are currently pregnant and want to have a VBAC, but are facing a hospital policy that would require you to deliver by c-section with no medical reason other than your previous c-section and against your wishes, we would be happy to talk with you.

Please send an email to vbacbanhelp@ican-online.org and we will contact you.

A lawyer in Maryland is also willing to help women fight VBAC bans.  Women seeking legal action in Maryland can use the same email address above to learn more.
