This list represents only a selection of recently published books for general readers on natural disasters -- earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, landslides and avalanches, tsunamis, storms, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods and droughts, and heat waves -- available at the U.S. Department of the Interior Library. It is arranged alphabetically by the author's last name.
