War Fighters - CHL Supporting the Nation

CHL Only ...
LTG Robert L. Van Antwerp announces the selection of Dr. William Martin as the new Director of our Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory, part of the Engineer Research and Development Center. Bill is a multi-talented team member who combines advanced technical skill with a great passion for using innovative thought to make a positive impact around the world. His selection also proves that we are continuing to build our bench with some of the best and brightest professionals in our industries.

Bill brings more than 30 years of experience with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, both as a Soldier and a Civilian, and an accomplished academic and professional background. His Corps experience ranges from the District to the Laboratory levels where he focused on hydrology and watershed management. As a demonstration of character, he deployed overseas during our support to Bosnia in order to provide critical information on river water levels to war fighters. He has also worked to build for the future by serving as a visiting professor of hydrology at the University of Memphis.

We are happy to welcome him to the Senior Executive Service as he continues his service to our Country in helping build a stronger Nation and Corps.
