Installation Action Plan

The Installation Action Plan contains the cleanup history, current site status, contaminants of concern at each site, response actions taken and past milestones, as well as possible future response actions. The plan is used by the US Army Environmental Center, Army Cleanup Program Managers, Headquarters Department of the Army, regulators, Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) members, and other stakeholders to monitor the progress of cleanup at an installation.

Purpose

The purpose of the Installation Action Plan (IAP) is to outline the total multi-year cleanup for an installation. The plan identifies environmental cleanup requirements at each site or area of concern, and proposes a comprehensive, installation-wide approach, with associated costs and schedules, to conduct investigations and necessary remedial actions.
