Above and Beyond Citizen Honors

Who: Nominate an unsung hero from Florida who has demonstrated a long-term commitment to service above self or who has, at great risk, helped others through a single act of heroism.

What: Above and Beyond Citizen Honors award to recognize three extraordinary Americans who uphold the same ideals of courage, sacrifice and selflessness as Medal of Honor winners.

When: Deadline for submission is February 20, 2009. Winners will be chosen in March.
