Residents enjoy a diverse and rewarding environment with all the amenities of a metropolitan area but with the charm and hospitality of a small town. Boone County boasts the second highest per capita income in the State of Kentucky, and ranks in the top 10% in the nation among all counties. We are home to over 59,280 jobs and more than 2,171 companies, including 108 internationally based companies. With over 40 miles of Ohio River shoreline and home to the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport, Boone County offers great neighborhoods, schools, and shopping.

Burlington celebrates first annual Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival
BOONE COUNTY, KY–The first annual Burlington Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival took place last Saturday in downtown Burlington. The Boone County Fiscal Court and Historic Burlington Business Association (HBBA) co–sponsored the event with Mike Crane Insurance/Kentucky Farm Bureau as the presenting sponsor. The event featured artists from the professional and high school divisions competing for cash prizes and scholarships. The HBBA also sponsored a viewer’s choice award and visitors were encouraged to create their own masterpieces on the pavement!

A new entrance sign for Burlington has been donated to the Community
BOONE COUNTY, KY–Through the generosity of a local Burlington Business, The Tousey House Tavern, the newly formed Historic Burlington Business Association (HBBA) has been able to construct and install a new entrance sign into historic Burlington.
