Our Goals

  • Reduce environmental impact on installations from fielded systems.
  • Integrate pollution prevention into the acquisition process.
  • Prevent environmental requirements from adversely impacting schedule, performance or budget of an acquisition program.

Our Objectives

  • Provide environmental review of acquisition programs to the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Environment, Safety and Occupational Health ODASA (ESOH).
  • Provide support to the Cost and Economics Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (ODASA-CE) in the development of valid environmental life cycle cost estimates.
  • Provide technical environmental review of Army Acquisition programs for the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Installations and Environment) ASA (I&E) in their role as voting member on the Army System Acquisition Review Council (ASARC) and the Cost Review Board (CRB), and for the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management (ACSIM) in their role as Army Requirements Oversight Council (AROC) advisor.
