Mr. Carl Cornwell is a consultant to the Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications and National Library of Medicine through Aquilent, Inc. He has a B.S. degree and develops image visualization software that can be used across several Biomedical Imaging R&D projects.


Current Projects

Image Visualization: Developing imaging capabilities that will be used across several CEB applications, including the Virtual Microscope, the Multimedia Database Tool, and the Teaching Tool. These capabilities include versatile image display that will support access to multiple compression types, the display of very large histology images, and image handling on the Web that is compliant with Internet Imaging Protocol (IIP) standards.
