Hall Statement on Port Authority's Waiving of Fees at Stewart Airport
August 14, 2008
Goshen, NY - U.S. Rep. John Hall (D-NY19) released the following statement in reaction to the Port Authority Board of Commissioners' approval of an incentive program that will waive fees and rentals that airlines normally would have paid the Port Authority for usage of Stewart International Airport for the next six months.

"The Port Authority’s commitment to promoting Stewart’s full operation is critical for Orange County and the Hudson Valley as a whole," said Hall. "The recent cuts in service at Stewart demonstrated just how important Stewart is to our economy and I am extremely pleased that the Port Authority is taking the proper steps to protect future service at Stewart."
