Performance Venues

Folger Shakespeare Library:  201 East Capitol Street, SE  Not only does this library contain the world's largest collection of Shakespeare materials, it also hosts productions of his plays and houses a research facility. 

Ford's Theatre and Lincoln Museum:  10th and E Streets, NW, 202-426-6924  To celebrate President Lincoln's appreciation for the arts, the site of his assassination reopened over a century after his death.  The Museum is open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.

John F. Kennedy Center:  2700 F Street, NW, 202-416-8340  This presidential memorial and home to the National Symphony Orchestra annually presents over 3,000 performances on its eight stages.  The Kennedy Center presents free performances every night at 6:00 p.m. on the Millennium Stage.
